"I love trains, how can I not! They are both fascinating and affordable. I meet new people and the scenery is great. I usually listen to electronic music and rap, but when I am on a train, I love to listen to people and their stories and draw.

"I’ve travelled Europe with Interrail, more than 15 countries. Once I met a friend of mine going to Trolltunga, the famous tourist attraction of Norway. The thing is, I was in summer clothes but could not pass up the chance to see it. During the train ride, I quickly drew an illustration of the panoramic view of our destination. That day, just to make my photo shoot with the illustration and the actual place together, I walked in soaking wet shoes for hours!"

"Affordable and entertaining, not only for international destinations but also for traveling in the city. We are now at the Marmaray station, a sub-sea metro line that connects Europe and Asia in İstanbul. Isn’t it great for World Public Transport Day? I got this skateboard when I was in the States and since I first laid my hands on it, I wanted to make a Marmaray illustration on it. And here we are. An artist from İstanbul, with a skateboard bought from the USA, illustrated for World Public Transport Day, taking a photo shoot for an organisation which has headquarters in Europe and is spread across 100 countries. This truly is an international day for public transport!"
