Dewang Subil studied engineering and later became a visual content creator. He moved to Bangalore in 2019 to pursue his studies and now lives alone, working as a content creator. When he was a student, his college was in Kengeri, a western suburb of Bangalore city. It used to take about an hour to reach the city by taxi or bus. However, in 2021, the Purple Line of the Metro was launched, which became a convenient way to travel to the city. It made meeting friends and travelling back home much easier and more efficient.
Though he has a bike, travelling in traffic can be a nightmare, so the Metro became a big saviour for him. He also spends his travel time enjoying music, which makes his journey more relaxing and enjoyable. Dewang also finds pleasure in simply being present during the journey.
